Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent in Physical Education; Master's preferred.
• Current Minnesota State Licensure in Physical Education.
• Commitment to equitable education and strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience with differentiation, guided reading, and technology preferred.
• Experience with diverse learners preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer Physical Education classes aligned with district goals.
• Teach physical fitness, rhythm, dance, coordination, and sports.
• Develop leadership, teamwork, responsibility, social skills; provide safe learning environment and feedback.
• Assess student growth and adapt instruction to meet individual needs.
• Maintain records of grading and attendance per district procedures.
• Coordinate extra-curricular activities and athletic events.
• Encourage parental involvement and communicate with students and parents.
