Responsibilities include developing standards-aligned lessons, fostering an inclusive classroom, assessing progress, and collaborating with staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsement or approved alternative certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in K-12.
• Ability to foster a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Local to the Austin area.

Responsibilities

• Provide learning experiences that support students' growth across intellectual, emotional, physical, and social domains.
• Prepare students for post-secondary readiness through Career & Technical Education (CTE) activities.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum and standards.
• Foster a positive classroom environment and encourage active learning.
• Use various teaching methods and integrate technology to enhance learning.
• Assess student progress and provide timely feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues and administration; participate in meetings as required.
• Attend evening/virtual meetings as needed.
