Job summary

DLR Group is seeking an Interior Designer to join integrated design teams and work on a diverse range of projects from schematic design to construction administration. You will develop material palettes, prepare detailed specifications, and collaborate with clients, contractors, and vendors to deliver high-quality interiors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design required.
  • 5–8 years of professional interior design experience.
  • Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and Designer Pages Pro.
  • 3D visualization software: Enscape, SketchUp, Lumion Render; knowledge of Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a strong ability in conceptual design, program development and space planning.
  • Show a solid foundation in design and technical skills including drawing and presentation abilities.
  • Apply design thinking to address three-dimensional space aspects from function to materials and performance.
  • Lead project deliverables by adhering to DLR Group standards across the team.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, vendors, and team members to develop design ideas and solutions.
  • Communicate effectively through written, oral, and visual channels; meet project deadlines.
