Job summary

Delta-T Group Phoenix, Inc. is seeking Classroom Assistants in Gilbert, AZ to help K-12 students during school hours. The role offers compensation up to $20 per hour as an independent contractor, with shift hours aligning to school schedules (7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday through Friday).

You may board and exit buses, prepare materials, keep students on task, and support teachers through structured activities. Qualifications include a HS diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid, and AZ IVP fingerprint clearance.

Qualifications

Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent.
Valid CPR /First Aid.
AZ IVP Fingerprint clearance card or the ability to obtain one.
Minimum of 1 year experience in a licensed facility (classroom, preschool, etc.).
Ability to maintain and exhibit patience and understanding at all times.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, peers, parents and staff members.

Responsibilities

Assist student as they board and exit school bus.
Helps prepare, collect and set-up materials for student participation, following teacher direction.
Ensure student remain on task academically.
Perform other professional duties, as requested.
Conduct/implement activities designed by the lead/teacher.
