SR1 ThinkCenter in Ridgeland, MS is hiring K–12 and Adult & Family Learning Educators across central Mississippi. The program follows a cradle-to-career approach, teaching children and their families toward the same outcomes.

Open roles welcome college students without certification through to certified teachers, with a Summer 2027 rollout and opportunities for curriculum leadership. Hourly rate varies by certification and experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach to SR1 standards — above the state floor, college preparatory and STEM-themed by design, kindergarten through adult
• Innovate, don't recycle the school day
• Teach adults with the same rigor you bring to children — adults aren't an easier audience, they're a different one, and often a more nervous one
• Look at the data to see what's working, and change what isn't
• Connect the generations — where you teach a scholar and that scholar's family member, make the two say the same thing
• Teach well through a screen — some programming is delivered online
