Job summary

Young World Physical Education is looking for an assistant coach to support the head coach at Millbrook High School in Winchester, Virginia. The candidate will participate in developing and maintaining an in-school recruiting program while establishing a positive relationship with school staff and community.

The position requires at least 3 years of successful coaching experience and a preference for candidates with a Virginia License in secondary education. The pay rate is $2,508.50 per year with a supplemental assignment for the 2026-2027 school year.

Qualifications

• Successful coaching experience in the sport; a minimum of 3 years of experience is preferred.
• Eligibility for a Virginia License with a secondary education endorsement is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach in developing and maintaining an in-school recruiting program.
• Develop a positive rapport with school staff and the community.
• Work cooperatively with the head coach, coordinator of student activities, and school administration.
