Qualifications

• Completion of VHSL Coaches Education requirements.
• CPR and First Aid training or enrollment in current training.

Responsibilities

• Organizes, coordinates, and promotes a comprehensive athletic program for the school community.
• Coach instruction, motivate student athletes, and maintain a successful athletic program.
• Monitor academic performance of athletes and provide academic assistance as needed.
• Direct and evaluate assistant coaches and coordinate athletic staff.
• Assist in hiring/retention of assistant coaches and communicate with college coaches.
• Organize fundraising activities and ensure safety procedures and emergency plans.
