Qualifications

• Preference given to Catholic teacher
• Must meet Diocese of Phoenix requirements for employment
• FBI Fingerprint clearance completed
• Arizona State driver’s license desirable
• Must be in good physical condition and have good communication, judgment and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Instruct athletes in fundamental skills, strategy and training while promoting the Pursuing Victory with Honor program and maintaining discipline and morale.
• Supervise and evaluate staff performance and the overall program functioning of the sport.
• Ensure venue safety, equipment within regulation, safe, maintained and inventoried.
• Coordinate supervision of student-athletes in all areas of play, locker rooms, and venues used by the sport.
• Maintain open communication with faculty, staff and parents; assist in academics advisement and college recruiting processes with athletic director and guidance staff.
• Perform other job-related tasks as requested by principal or athletic director.
