Responsibilities

• Assists the head coach in assigned duties related to football and coaching the Varsity team.
• Checks practice areas daily and removes hazards.
• Develops a positive public relations program in the school and community.
• Recommends equipment purchases to the head coach.
• Supervises in locker rooms before and after practice.
• Keeps up-to-date on medical procedures for athletic injuries.
• Sets a good example for students on and off the field.
• Ensures participant eligibility and insurance coverage in collaboration with head coach.
• Stays informed on football rules and district policies.
