Job summary

Portsmouth Public Schools Manor High School in Portsmouth, Virginia is seeking a JV Baseball Coach to support our athletic program. The position is part-time with immediate starting date and requires a background in coaching at the junior varsity level and a solid understanding of VHSL rules.

QUALIFICATIONS:

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

• Work may involve exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
• Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and/or walking for several hours per day.
• Work environment may involve minimal exposure to physical risks, such as operating heavy and/or dangerous equipment or working with chemicals.
