Job summary

The Branson School in San Francisco, CA, is seeking a Head JV Baseball Coach to lead the junior varsity program under the supervision of the Head Varsity Coach. This part-time, seasonal position reports to the Director of Athletics and requires evening and weekend work along with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• 1–2 years coaching experience at high school or collegiate level (preferred).
• CPR certification through American Red Cross.
• Valid driver's license and ability to transport student athletes.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
• Experience working with diverse groups of people.
• Ability to handle conflicts professionally and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the JV Baseball program under the Head Varsity Coach.
• Ensure adherence to Branson and league policies for athletic activities.
• Plan and organize practices and game schedules with Athletics.
• Maintain a safe environment for student athletes at all times.
• Develop training programs and practice schedules.
• Communicate regularly with team parents regarding operations.
• Oversee supervision at home and away games and enforce behavior.
• Maintain equipment and inventory; manage purchases and records.
