Responsibilities

• Represent DCYF in child welfare cases to protect abused and neglected children.
• Advise client agencies and guardians regarding regulatory enforcement matters.
• Prepare witnesses and evidence for hearing or trial.
• Review petitions and court documents; respond to discovery.
• Communicate with social workers and agency staff.
• Submit relevant briefing to the court and coordinate with guardians ad litem.
• Conduct research and analysis; manage caseload with independence.
• Support work-life balance and professional development within the AGO.
