Oklahoma Office of Juvenile Affairs invites qualified professionals to join our team as a Juvenile Services Specialist. You will conduct intake interviews, provide individual and group counseling, and develop treatment plans for youths in custody, on probation, or on parole, coordinating with courts and community providers to support rehabilitation and public safety.

This role requires strong case management, the ability to testify as needed, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Competenze

Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science; or a bachelor’s degree and one year of professional experience in juvenile justice, social work, community-based prevention and diversionary youth services programs, guidance and counseling, correctional case management or probation and parole.
Master’s degree in a behavioral science or JD; or a combination of degrees and one year of related professional experience.

Mansioni

Carries a differentiated case load in juvenile justice; provides services and supervision to youths in custody or on probation or parole status.
Conducts intake interviews with youths, families, and victims and develops treatment plans.
Provides individual and group counseling; arranges health screening; recommends placement and community reintegration; visits clients in out-of-home placements.
