Arrowhead Regional Corrections is seeking staff to perform routine correctional duties at the Arrowhead Juvenile Center in Duluth, ensuring safety, security, and orderly operations around residents. You will model social skills and assist in conflict resolution while supervising residents 24/7.

The role includes security checks, crisis management, documentation, medication delivery, and transporting residents, with duties performed under supervision.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or its equivalent is required.
• Twenty-one (21) years of age or older OR between eighteen (18) and twenty-one (21) with enrollment/completion in a behavioral science program per Minnesota Statute 2960.0240.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Provide correctional services for minors detained at Arrowhead Juvenile Center and ensure safety and security of the facility, juveniles, and staff.
• Counsel residents by modeling and teaching social skills, problem solving, and conflict resolution.
• Perform security checks, manage crises, document daily activities, deliver medications, provide transportation, and assist residents develop life skills.

Formação académica

High school diploma or its equivalent

Postsecondary education coursework in behavioral science
