State of Ohio is hiring a Juvenile Correctional Officer to monitor facility operations and mentor youth in care. You will provide safety, security, and custodial support while applying training to de-escalate conflicts and ensure a positive environment.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and successful completion of the officer assessment. A probationary period applies as part of employment.
Starting pay is over $51,000 per year. By working just two (2) overtime assignments per week, new staff can add an additional $30,000 salary per year. New Juvenile Correctional Officers receive their first pay increase after six (6) months of employment.
DYS is seeking a Juvenile Correctional Officer to join our diverse team!
