Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking an entry-level Welder in Spring Lake, MI. You will set up and operate welding equipment, read blueprints, and perform MIG welding to fabricate metal components while ensuring quality and safety. The role offers a 2nd shift with four 10-hour days and a 20% shift premium.

We value attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Certification is a plus and a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Entry-level welding with MIG processes and metal fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate welding equipment for production runs.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
• Perform MIG welding to fabricate metal components.
• Inspect finished products for quality and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving welding issues as they arise.
