Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking an Engineer to perform design, drafting, and transform basic survey data into CAD drawings. This role focuses on water and wastewater infrastructure projects, feasibility studies, and master planning to deliver safe, reliable water distribution and treatment solutions.

The ideal candidate holds a B.S. in civil/environmental engineering, may have AnEIT and is pursuing a PE license, and brings 0–2 years of relevant experience, with AutoCAD proficiency and

Qualifications

• Bachelor of science degree in civil or environmental engineering.
• AnEIT Certificate and working towards PE license is desired.
• 0–2 years of experience in civil/environmental and municipal engineering, with concentration in water/wastewater design is highly desired.
• Experience with AutoCAD is desired.
• Ability to read, write and understand English for job communications and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and execute engineering methods affecting a wide range of engineering activities.
• Regular contact with professional engineering consultants, governmental agencies, communities and contractors for complex engineering matters.
• Overall supervision and review of detailed and complex engineering calculations, plans, specs and papers.
• Plan, design and provide guidance in development of water supply, transmission, distribution; wastewater and municipal infrastructure projects.
• Develops and reviews conceptual drawings related to infrastructure design.
• Develops and reviews construction documents and specifications.
• Reviews and prepares calculations, permit applications, monitoring plans and progress reports.
• Responsible for studies, designs, and contract documents for water/wastewater and municipal infrastructure projects.
