Job summary

Jacobs, based in Cleveland, OH, seeks an Entry-Level Water Compliance Consultant to support onsite permitting, monitoring, inspections, and other environmental compliance activities. You’ll build your technical knowledge and gain hands-on experience while working with our Water Compliance team.

Based at a client site, you’ll travel up to 25% and collaborate with local and global experts to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related field (or civil/environmental engineering).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Class D Water License within established timeframe.
• 0–2 years of relevant water quality/environmental compliance experience (internships, co-ops, etc.).
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients and teammates.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and be onsite daily.
• U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Support water compliance activities including stormwater and wastewater.
• Assist with reports, presentations, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with project teams and clients to deliver high-quality solutions.
