Job summary

ONWARD SEARCH partners with a creative organization to recruit a talented Product Designer for a 10-26 week temporary assignment in New York. You will craft engaging multimedia assets for website, email, and mobile apps, adapting assets to platform specs and ensuring brand consistency.

The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of design experience, strong typography and UX fundamentals, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and After Effects.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of design experience with a diverse campaign portfolio.
• Strong typography, color theory, and UX design fundamentals.
• ADA-compliant design knowledge preferred.
• Familiarity with motion graphics, animation, and social media design.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to work independently or in a team.

Product Designer Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating engaging multimedia digital assets for various channels, including website, email, and mobile app platforms.
• Adapt and resize existing creative assets to meet specific platform requirements and specifications.
• Collaborate with team members to support the overall creative process and contribute to project workflows.
• Ensure visuals, messaging, and interactive components align with brand standards across multiple properties.
• Participate in data-driven review processes, offering insights and supporting updates to creative assets.

Product Designer Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience as a designer, with a portfolio showing diverse campaign work.
• Solid understanding of typography, color theory, and UX design fundamentals.
• Knowledge of ADA-compliant design is preferred.
• Familiarity with motion graphics, animation, and social media design principles is a plus.
