Job summary

Mi-Tech Services, Inc., a Mi-Tech division, is seeking an Associate Civil Project Engineer in Tulsa, OK to support trenchless underground infrastructure projects. You will design, analyze, and coordinate with field teams on HDD, tunneling, auger boring, direct steerable pipe thrusting, and microtunneling tasks.

The role offers exposure to soil mechanics, geotechnical engineering, and construction methods, with opportunities toward PE licensure under licensed engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from ABET-accredited program; recent graduates encouraged to apply.
• EI/EIT certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
• Strong engineering fundamentals and analytical skills with an interest in geotechnical engineering.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings; proficiency with Excel and Word.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings, site visits, and short-term construction assignments.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Design and support underground infrastructure projects (HDD, tunneling, auger boring, direct steerable pipe thrusting, microtunneling).
• Perform calculations and analyses; evaluate subsurface conditions; develop trenchless designs.
• Assess potential construction impact; provide technical support during construction.
• Prepare construction drawings using AutoCAD as part of the design process.
