Job summary

Stantec in Colorado Springs seeks an entry-level transportation engineer to assist in developing conceptual and final designs for roadways and multimodal projects across a broad regional scope. You will contribute from concept design through PS&E, building a foundation in engineering fundamentals and software tools while delivering innovative transportation solutions.

The role offers a hybrid work environment with in-office presence based on project needs and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (emphasis in Transportation preferred).
• 0-3+ years of related work experience in roadway/highway design or equivalent.
• Passing Fundamentals of Engineering Exam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design streets, roadways, highways, intersections, interchanges, and multimodal facilities.
• Create detailed civil drawings using AutoCAD/Civil3D and MicroStation/OpenRoads Designer.
• Utilize InfraWorks or similar software to support design development and client communications.
• Support transportation and multimodal planning and design.
• Assist with plan sets for clients adhering to CAD standards.
• Prepare construction drawings including roadway, traffic, drainage, utilities.
