Job summary

APEX TK is seeking aTrajectory Engineer to support MDA Targets and Countermeasures Engineering Directorates. You will contribute to pre-mission trajectory validation, performance analysis, and on-site support during flight events, working with a multidisciplinary team of experts.

The role requires a STEM degree with 3+ years of experience, DoD clearance, and proficiency in MATLAB, Python, Java, and C#. You will also coordinate with system engineering on design, analysis, and reporting tasks,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance, US citizenship.
• Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, Java, C#, and other programming languages.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Support MDA Targets and Countermeasures program office with development of ballistic missile target vehicles.
• Support TC System Engineering in requirements development, modeling and simulation, and test analysis.
• Develop and analyze 6DOF trajectory data for target vehicles.
• Assist mission planning, analysis, and reporting activities.
• Collaborate with a team to develop analysis tools and data products.
• Engage in database requirements, schema development, interface development, testing, and data management.
