Job summary

Oils & Grains in New York is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented candidate to support the execution of sales and purchase contracts throughout the transaction lifecycle. You will prepare and process trade documentation, coordinate with traders and internal teams, and ensure timely completion of paperwork.

You will follow up with customers, suppliers, banks, inspectors, and shipping lines to gather required documents, review trade documents for accuracy, and monitor shipment milestones in

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or business administration from a reputable university.
• Previous internship experiences preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of sales and purchase contracts throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Prepare and process trade-related documentation in accordance with contractual requirements.
• Coordinate with traders and internal departments to ensure all documentation is accurate and completed on time.
• Follow up with customers, suppliers, banks, inspection companies, shipping lines, and other stakeholders regarding required documents.
• Assist in preparing documentary instructions based on contractual requirements.
• Review trade documents for accuracy and completeness before submission.
• Monitor shipment milestones and ensure all required documentation is available in line with the agreed schedule.
• Update contract and shipment information in the ERP system.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for each transaction.
• Communicate shipment and documentation updates to internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing operational reports and tracking pending documents and payments.
• Support the Trade Execution team with daily operational activities.
