Maxxis International USA is seeking an Assistant Engineer to join our Materials & Testing Development Team at the Maxxis Technology Center in Suwanee, Georgia. You will evaluate tire compounds, test raw materials, analyze data, and support next-generation tire product development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemistry, Polymer Science, or a closely related technical field required
• Previous laboratory experience required
• Experience with materials testing, polymers, rubber compounds, chemical analysis, or quality testing preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing and evaluation of rubber compounds, polymers, chemicals, and other tire-related materials
• Prepare rubber compounds, test specimens, and materials for testing
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment used to evaluate material properties
• Collect, organize, validate, and analyze experimental data
• Prepare clear, accurate, and well-organized technical reports
• Present findings and provide technical summaries to engineers, researchers, and management teams
• Support research and development projects
• Maintain laboratory records, testing documentation, and databases
• Perform routine calibration, maintenance, and upkeep of laboratory equipment
