Junior Tennis Professional

Location: Glenview Tennis Club – Glenview, IL 60025

Job Summary

This Junior Tennis Professional position focuses on instructing and supervising junior players in a structured and engaging environment. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and leading after‑school group lessons held several days per week, as well as supporting seasonal programming such as morning camps, full‑day camps, and afternoon group sessions during the summer. The role involves providing tennis instruction, coordinating activities, and ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all participants.

Scheduling & Pay

Part‑time, year‑round position.

• Indoor season: Monday–Friday after 4:00PM and Saturdays 9:00AM–12:00PM; weekly hours 1–6
• Summer: approximately 12.5–35 hours per week
  • Morning camp: 9:00AM–12:00PM
  • Full‑day camp: 9:00AM–4:00PM
• Pay:
  • $17 per hour for group lessons (depending on qualifications)
  • $20+ per hour for private lessons
  • $15 per hour for administrative duties
