Gensler in Oakland is seeking a Technical Designer to collaborate with their design team in developing innovative design solutions. In this role, you will contribute across all project phases, coordinate design documents, and create 3D models and graphic presentations. A Bachelor's degree in Architecture and up to 5 years of project experience are required, along with proficiency in Rhino, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.

The position offers a competitive salary between $75,000 - $82,000 annually, plus bonuses and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and 401(k) options.

Qualifications

• 0 - 5 years of related project experience.
• Commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices.
• Knowledge of materials, construction techniques, and building codes.
• LEED accreditation a plus.
• Demonstrated progress on AXP and/or ARE exams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop design concepts.
• Contribute across all project phases, including conceptual and detailed design.
• Coordinate design documents with various stakeholders.
• Create graphic presentations and 3D models.
• Research and specify materials and building systems.
