Job summary

Avid Technology Professionals is seeking a System Engineer Level 1 in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will define and document concept of operations, derive system requirements, and support system development through use cases and high-level design.

You will coordinate with customers and project teams to ensure solutions meet requirements, specify performance and interfaces, and develop installation, integration, and acceptance test plans throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 3 years of relevant experience, or a Master's with 1 year of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree and no experience.
• If program is not ABET accredited, it must include specified coursework.
• Relevant experience must be in engineering systems over their lifecycle (concept, design, testing, deployment, maintenance and support).

Responsibilities

• Define and document concept of operations and system requirements.
• Perform high-level system design and specify performance and interface requirements.
• Develop installation, integration, and acceptance test plans and coordinate with customers and project teams.
