Job summary

Accel Entertainment is seeking a Junior Systems Developer to build and maintain gaming systems, including data interfaces, payment systems, controllers, user interfaces, and legacy applications. The role collaborates with business stakeholders and Accel engineers to implement new features and modernize existing systems. This position reports to the Senior Systems Developer.

Preferred primary location: Las Vegas, NV. Preferred secondary location: Chicago, IL.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required, preferably in marketing, communications, or a related field.
2+ years of C#, JavaScript, and .NET development experience, with a focus on secure, reliable, scalable, auditable, and compliant solutions.
Experience designing and building SQL databases.
Experience building interfaces that use CSV and JSON file formats and REST API calls.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with business stakeholders, infrastructure engineers, and QA to design, build, test, and deploy gaming systems.
Upgrade and enhance existing controllers, devices, user interfaces, and payment systems.
Build new thin-client user interfaces in C# and .NET to replace thick clients.
Reverse engineer legacy code and integrate functionality into modern C#-based services.
