Job summary

KBR is seeking a Junior Systems Analyst for the JTDI program in Lexington Park, MD. This on-site role supports the Joint Delivery Management System (JDMS) across naval platforms, requiring a current Secret clearance and strong Windows/Linux/networking skills.

You will provide technical support, manage data transfers, and respond to incidents while occasionally working outside standard hours to support foreign national customers. The spin-off to Trinzic is noted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT with 5+ years of experience.
• Certifications: Security+, CASP, CISSP, or CEH.
• AWS certification or Linux+ or CISA-related training.
• Ability to support SIPR environment at Patuxent River Naval Air Station.
• Secret security clearance required.
• Knowledge of Windows Server 2019/2022, IIS, RedHat Linux; PowerShell and Linux shell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for the JDMS Java and .NET client/server application.
• Support warfighter missions with knowledge of supported network infrastructure.
• Understand DoD warfighter customer base in support of NAVAIR/NAVSEA.
• Handle JDMS data transfers between aviation and ship maintenance systems.
• Support JDMS deployed systems across CONUS/OCONUS.
• End user phone support and JTDI service/incident response.
• Occasionally work outside core hours for foreign national customers.
• Learn and administer JTDI JDMS software components.

KBR is currently seeking an experienced Junior Systems Analyst (JSA) for the JTDI program in Lexington Park, MD. This is an on site position.

Active / Current Secret Clearance Required

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for the Joint Delivery Management System (JDMS) java and .NET client server application.
• Customer focused in support of our warfighter mission and have a broad technical knowledge of the supported network infrastructure.
• Understanding of the DoD warfighter customer base in support of Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) and Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA).
• Be part of a team responsible that responsible for the JDMS application data transfer of aviation and ship maintenance and logistics data.
• Must have the knowledge and skills to support JDMS deployed systems supporting CONUS and OCONUS data transfer between ship and shore systems.
• End user customer phone support and response to JTDI service and incident requests.
• Open to working outside of core business hours to support foreign national customers.
• Background in Windows Server administration, ACAS scanning, vulnerability remediation, server virtualization, firewalls, and networking.
• Experience in SOAP (simple object access protocol) web services.
• Experience in software testing and deployment procedures.
• Leverage support tools to monitor Foreign Military Sale (FMS) server environments.
• Learn and administer JTDI JDMS (Joint Delivery Management Service) software and its application components.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT and at least 5 years’ experience in the field or related area.
• Must have one of the following certifications: Security + certification or CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• Must have Operating system (OS)/environment certification or training: Amazon Web Services (AWS) certification (e.g., Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect), CompTIA Linux+ certification, AWS Technical Essentials training, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA)*** Windows OS Security training, OR CISA Linux OS Security training
• Must be able to support SIPR environment at Patuxent River Naval Air Station
• Security Clearance Requirement: Secret required
• Knowledge with Microsoft Server 2019 and 2022. Knowledge with Microsoft IIS web services. Knowledge with RedHat Linux Operating Systems. Ability to learn MS PowerShell and Linux shell scripting.

Compensation:

$75,000-$103,000. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s location, knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, contract affordability, and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
