S2i2 Inc. is seeking a Junior Systems Administrator in the Pentagon area to support Windows server and workstation operations in a DoD environment. You will configure operating systems, manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and assist with virtualization and monitoring.

Applicants must hold an Active Secret or Top-Secret clearance and a DoD 8570 IAT Level II cert. The role requires 3+ years of relevant experience and on-site work in Arlington, VA.

Formación

• Active Secret or Top-Secret clearance.
• DoD 8140 / 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or higher).
• BS in Information Technology or an engineering field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience installing, configuring and supporting Windows OS on servers/workstations.
• Knowledge of network protocols, IP addressing and virtualization concepts.
• Experience with Active Directory, DHCP and DNS administration.
• Experience applying patches and maintaining DoD STIG compliance.
• Ability to work nights or weekends if needed.

Responsabilidades

• Perform day-to-day operations and maintenance including audit log reviews and backups.
• Apply security updates and maintain STIG compliance on all devices.
• Maintain system and process documentation.
• Provide technical support for PBM network workstations and virtual terminals.
• Analyze and resolve user problems and perform preventive maintenance.
• Provide installation support for network systems applications.
• Monitor and maintain WhatsUp Gold monitoring.
