Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills, communication, and willingness to learn new technologies.

Position Summary

The Junior Site Reliability Engineer supports the engineering, deployment, and operation of One IT's infrastructure and platform services. This hands-on role includes on-premises data center operations, server infrastructure, virtualization, networking, and automation.

Working alongside experienced engineers, this position helps maintain reliable and secure environments, troubleshoot technical issues, and improve operational processes. The role provides an opportunity to develop foundational skills in infrastructure engineering, automation, and platform reliability while contributing to mission-critical technology capabilities.

Typically has a university degree (BA/BS) in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.

Supports day-to-day infrastructure engineering and operational objectives under general supervision.

Performs server deployment, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic automation tasks.

Applies foundational knowledge of operating systems, networking, virtualization, and infrastructure operations.

Junior Systems Administrator

$65,600 - $111,500 USD

Pay Range

The posted pay range reflects the national salary range for this position and is provided to give candidates a general understanding of the compensation opportunity. The actual salary offered will be determined based on the requirements of the position and a variety of job-related factors, which may include geographic location, applicable Federal Government contract labor categories and wage rates, relevant experience, skills and competencies, education, certifications, and the scope and responsibilities of the role.

Because this position may be performed in multiple locations and may be subject to different contract requirements, the salary ultimately offered may vary based on the applicable location and contract.
