Job summary

ALO is seeking a Junior Supply Planner to support pre-season planning by maintaining high-quality data, translating forecasts into raw-material needs, and ensuring readiness across planning tools. The role partners with multiple teams to develop feasible supply plans ahead of each season.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in supply planning, with exposure to ERP/planning systems and a fast-paced, seasonal environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in supply planning or related fields.
• 0–2 years of experience in supply planning, production planning, inventory planning, merchandising, operations, data analysis, or a related function.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Intermediate Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and data analysis.
• Familiarity with ERP/planning/reporting systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDA/Blue Yonder, Anaplan, or similar platforms preferred.
• Interest in systems, data quality, process improvement, and project implementation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support pre-season supply planning for seasonal collections, replenishment programs, and carryover products.
• Translate forecasts into raw-material requirements, considering BOMs, lead times, MOQ, supplier capacity, material availability, and delivery windows.
• Expand component-planning to include trims and packaging as the business grows.
• Maintain accuracy and timeliness of planning data across planning, ERP, PLM, and reporting systems.
• Assist with creation, testing, implementation, and documentation of supply planning projects and tools.
• Support planning system enhancements and inventory optimization initiatives.
• Prepare analyses and recurring reports to inform planning decisions across capacity, supply risks, and MOQs.
• Collaborate with Raw Materials, Product Development, Production, and vendor teams to validate readiness and timelines.
• Conduct what-if analyses to assess impacts of demand changes and sourcing options.
