Job summary

Boeing in Dover, DE seeks an Entry Level Supply Chain Specialist to join the C-17 Field Supply Chain team at Dover Air Force Base. You will handle on-site warehouse duties, process induction documents, and support parts availability while following Boeing and OSHA requirements.

Candidates should have experience in supply chain, shipping/receiving, and be able to lift 30 pounds; travel up to 10% is expected; U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Experience working both independently and in team environments.
• Supply chain and inventory management experience.
• Shipping and receiving experience.
• Experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, shipping or customer service environment.
• Must be capable of lifting 30 pounds on a frequent basis.
• Ability to travel 10% of the time.
• This position requires U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Be proficient in the operation of mechanized and manual materials handling equipment, hand tools and other equipment related to materials storage, control and transportation
• Ability to observe, count, and maintain stock levels in order to match names, codes, numbers, or sizes of items with lists on which these items are shown
• Ability to recognize poor or unacceptable quality of parts prior to shipment
• Coordinate with various departments to expedite and complete movement of material and parts to required locations
• Assist in the movement of assets and components through the repair cycle
