Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Experience in engineering or construction is a plus.
• Experience in material handling or steel detailing is a plus.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to handle multiple project assignments in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication; team-oriented and collaborative.
• Willingness to travel to job sites occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Design function: Review project scope, specifications, and budgets; develop conceptual 3D structural layouts using Revit; coordinate with other disciplines to integrate structures with equipment and building; document final drawings using Revit/AutoCAD; coordinate with Engineer-of-Record for permitting and construction.
• Execution function: Establish milestones with PM/lead engineer; ensure procurement and detailing align with onsite dates; monitor progress and budgets; raise change orders as scope evolves; coordinate with detailing team to ensure timely releases and fabrication checks.
• Travel to jobsites occasionally.
