Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking an entry-level Associate Designer to support the design team in creating POP displays and packaging. You will assist in developing assemblies, plant instructions, white samples, and mockups while gaining exposure to integrated design, manufacturing, and assembly processes.

The role emphasizes detail, organization, and collaboration as you handle project materials and timelines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate in industrial design, packaging design, or related field.
• Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Familiarity with InDesign is a plus.
• Comfort with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Develop structural spec packages for POP displays and packaging.
• Create clear pack-out and assembly instructions using Illustrator and ArtiosCAD.
• Cut and assemble white samples using Kongsberg tables.
• Construct presentation-ready mockups with wide-format printers and prototyping tools.
• Prepare, pack, and ship samples and materials; keep materials organized.
