Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale is seeking a Part-time Junior Staff at the Vestar Branch in Phoenix. You will supervise youth, help run programs, and support safety and program quality under supervision.

The Part-time Junior Staff is responsible for the safety and supervision of Club members in a variety of program areas. Under the direction of the Youth Development Supervisor, the Part-time Junior Staff delivers quality programs and high-yield activities to Club members. Utilizes the organization’s mission, vision, and values to set members up for success and provide an outcome-driven Club experience.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to program development, facilitation, program area safety and cleanliness, and providing guidance to volunteers. Part-time Junior Staff must be accompanied by an employee who is at least 18 years old when working with Club members.

Work environment is varied, divided between typical office setting and roaming field work. Must be able to complete work satisfactorily despite significant, frequent distractions throughout the workday. Workload and working hours may fluctuate throughout the year. Split shifts and longer than 8-hour days may be necessary. Work may require frequent and unexpected shifts in attention or direction. May be required to provide programming directly for youth and/or teen members. Occasional Saturday or late evening programming or events may occur where attendance and/or assistance is required.
