Job summary
ESPN NEXT in Charlotte, NC is hiring a full-time Production Assistant to launch a career in sports media. You will join a fast-paced team, receive training, and produce content for ESPN’s live events, shows, and digital platforms with mentorship and clear promotion opportunities based on performance.
You will support production, edit video and audio, and learn to coordinate graphics across broadcasts. This role offers hands-on development and potential advancement to Content Associate.
Qualifications
- Must work nights, mornings, weekends and holidays.
- Conversational knowledge of multiple sports.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to contribute ideas and stay composed under deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Support production and content creation for domestic and global properties.
- Share creative ideas for ESPN’s multi-platform storytelling.
- Edit video & audio elements and research content for shows.
- Run audio board loading playlists, log promos for broadcasts.
- Coordinate graphics for studio telecasts and remote events.
- Produce highlights, teases, opens and montages for shows and platforms.
- Assist live events by gathering video and sponsorship elements.
