Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide support for security policy formulation, development, and evaluation.
• Participate in development of the antiterrorism program.
• Research DoD policy within multiple Government agencies.
• Document and update internal policy and procedures.
• Draft security policies for review and approval by Government personnel.
• Provide written recommendations to enable senior management to decide on policy changes.
• Compose correspondence, briefings, presentations, and white papers as needed.
• Evaluate and consult on project-related security issues.
• Provide security education and awareness support.
• Coordinate security awareness materials for review by Government personnel.
• Provide security assistance to Field Offices as required.
• Participate in community working groups on security policy and awareness.
• Monitor CATMS ServiceNow and other systems; update as directed.
• Perform other policy/education/awareness support functions as required.
• Assist in maintaining Security Programs Database Repository (SPDR).
• Maintain relationships with senior management.
• Assist in enforcing facility security policy adherence.
• Monitor visitor access programs and clearance certifications via procedures.
