Intuitive Machines is seeking a Spaceflight Hardware Propulsion Engineer in Houston, TX, to apply fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and design principles to propulsion and spacecraft pressure systems. You will analyze components, develop or review CAD models, and collaborate across disciplines in a hands-on lab environment.

The role involves data analysis, test planning, and delivering clear technical updates while supporting mission simulations and integration with spacecraft or test vehicles.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Foundational knowledge of fluid mechanics and thermodynamics.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, requirements, test procedures, and engineering data.
• Familiarity with engineering analysis, programming, or data-processing tools.
• Willingness to travel and collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilidades

• Apply fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, materials, structures, and machine-design principles to propulsion and spacecraft pressure systems.
• Support design and analysis of propulsion-system components and assemblies.
• Perform or review fluid-flow, pressure-system, thermodynamic, and thermal analyses.
• Develop models and data-analysis tools using Python, MATLAB, or similar software.
• Develop or review CAD models and engineering drawings.
• Coordinate technical work with engineers, technicians, analysts, suppliers, and contractors.
