Job summary

Cirrus is seeking a Sourcing Manager Jr to help develop and execute a global sourcing strategy, support RFQ/RFP processes, and assist with supplier relationships across a cross-functional team.

You will contribute to cost savings ideas, participate in negotiations, and help drive performance metrics aligned with Cirrus goals. Travel is expected up to 25–50% to support domestic and international supplier engagements.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of strategic sourcing experience in procurement or related field.
• Knowledge of domestic and international contracts.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Avante or JD Edwards.
• Experience with engineering systems tools (Jira, Creo, Windchill, Solumina).
• Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Program/Project management experience for complex initiatives.
• Willingness to travel up to 25–50% (domestic/international).
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of a global sourcing strategy for the program.
• Assist with RFQ/RFP processes and tactical procurement support.
• Identify new supply sources that meet Cirrus quality, cost, and delivery goals.
• Help manage supplier relationships and performance reviews.
• Contribute to negotiations on long-term agreements and contract enforcement.
• Facilitate regular strategy meetings and KPI tracking across teams.
• Support program milestones during shortages and escalations.
• Assist with cost modeling early in development and cross-functional decision making.
