Job summary

Phoenix Defense is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and maintain software for the Next Generation Constructive platform. You will participate in full lifecycle development—from requirements through testing—while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile setting.

Required qualifications include a technical bachelor's degree and US citizenship with the ability to obtain security clearance. Proficiency in Java, OO design, and Git is expected, with familiarity in Linux and game

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, systems or software engineering from an accredited college or university.
• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle software development including requirements, design, implementation and testing.
• Identify, document and repair software defects.
• Design, code and debug applications, primarily in Java.
• Collaborate with leads, testers, SMEs, and other developers in an Agile environment.
• Adhere to project schedules and budgets.
