Job summary

The Tech7 Company is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join our Colorado Springs team. This full-time hybrid role requires 2-3 days on site per week at our Colorado Springs, CO location, with work backing government/ contractor DRAGON Army project using Agile methodologies in a DevOps pipeline.

You will contribute to developing supporting applications, UI/UX, database queries, and web services, collaborating with government and contractor teams to deliver high-impact software solutions.

Qualifications

• Up to 3 years of experience in agile software development.
• Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative, and agile team-focused environment.
• Agile process knowledge.
• Core programming skills in at least one major language.
• Understanding of software development methodologies and tools.
• Time management, problem-solving, communications, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Practical experience.
• Technical Degree (CS, Engineering, or other technical degrees preferred.)

Responsibilities

• Individual contribution role in the technical and programmatic actions to establish, optimize, and maintain a fully functional DevOps pipeline that supports the DRAGON Army mission.
• Work with Government customer and integrated product teams to implement required software feature sets, DevOps capabilities, and pipeline performance enhancements.
• Contribute to the development, integration, and execution of tools designed to assess and improve the utility of organization applications.
