Job summary

DMBA (Deseret Mutual Benefit Administrators) is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Appian Platform Development team in Utah. You will build secure business applications, automate processes, and integrate systems that support healthcare administration and operations.

As an early-career developer, you will learn Appian, a leading low-code platform, while contributing to real projects and collaborating with stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (CS, Software Eng, IS).
• Experience with at least one programming language such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or similar.
• Understanding of software development fundamentals (OOP, debugging, testing).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Desire and ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy business applications using Appian and related technologies.
• Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders to build solutions that address real business problems.

Preferred Qualifications

• 0-3 years of software development, internship, or IT experience.
• Experience with Appian or other low-code platforms such as Pega, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Power Platform, or K2.
• Familiarity with SQL, relational databases, and REST APIs.
• Exposure to Agile development practices.
