GliaCell is seeking a Junior Software Engineer for a full‑time subcontract supporting a U.S. Government customer. The role focuses on sustaining critical mission‑related software and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software to fulfill unique requirements across various OS platforms.
• Work with small teams and focus on continuous integration and delivery.

Key Requirements

• Active or reinstatable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship.
• 0+ years of software engineering experience with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (or related subject) OR 4 years of software engineering experience without a degree.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as on a team.

Key Skills

• Java, Python, C, C++, JavaScript, Angular, React, or Node.js.
• Experience with CI/CD systems (Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.).
• In‑depth understanding of OS internals and network protocols.
• Familiarity with modern software engineering concepts.

Location

Annapolis Junction, Columbia, Hanover, or Laurel, MD area.

Salary Range

$50,000 to $120,000.
