Job summary

The Flyover in Fort Collins, CO is hiring an entry-level Software Developer to build and maintain internal tools that empower daily operations. You’ll fix issues in our ETL pipeline and ship features that make other teams faster.

You’ll work with Python, SQL, and modern frameworks, learning from an experienced team while contributing to production data workflows and tooling from day one.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of professional software development experience or equivalent project/internship/bootcamp experience.
• Working knowledge of Python.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
• A genuine desire to learn, collaborative mindset, and comfort asking questions.
• Strong problem-solving instincts.

Responsibilities

• Build tooling for teams by collaborating with editorial, audience, sales, and operations to create internal tools.
• Maintain the ETL pipeline by troubleshooting, monitoring, and keeping data workflows running smoothly.
• Extend existing tools with new features based on team needs.
• Collaborate across the company by translating non-technical problems into working solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable code and continue learning with mentorship from senior engineers.
