Best Logistics Group is seeking a motivated Junior Software Developer to join our Information Technology team. You will develop applications, integrations, and automated solutions to improve business operations across the organization.

The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of software development basics, experience with Microsoft SQL Server, and familiarity with Git. We value curiosity, collaboration, and a proactive attitude toward learning new technologies.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of software development concepts
• Experience with SQL Server and writing SQL queries
• Familiarity with version control practices (Git)
• Understanding of testing, debugging, documentation and maintenance
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as ChatGPT or Copilot
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and in a team
• Good communication and willingness to learn new technologies

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining applications and integrations.
• Write and maintain SQL Server queries and stored procedures.
• Use Git and other VCS tools to manage development projects.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve productivity and problem-solving.
• Assist with EDI integrations and data mapping.
• Support existing applications and implement enhancements.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand requirements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
