ECS Group of Companies in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Junior Software Developer to join a fast-growing development team. You’ll work across the full stack and help build innovative web-based software with a talented group of engineers.

You’ll contribute to design, development and deployment, with opportunities for career growth and exposure to DevOps practices and Microsoft technology stack.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline; or equivalent work experience.
• 0-5 years with a degree or 2-5 years without a degree of experience as a developer using the Microsoft technology stack.
• Certifications in Microsoft Development, Agile Development and Microsoft SQL Server would be a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in the project lifecycle by designing, storyboarding, prototyping, developing, testing, deploying, and implementing custom business applications using the latest tools and technologies.
• Build modern web services to integrate with various internal and external services and APIs.
• Support our application architecture to improve logging, error handling, and performance.
• Implement DevOps strategies to improve automation and reduce waste.
• Help scale our platforms as we grow.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends.
• Assist in the contribution and enhancement of assigned ECS projects.
• Develop an understanding of ECS domain knowledge and development best practices.

The expected pay range for this role and location is $85,000 - $114,000/year. The final agreed-upon compensation will be determined based on specific location and other individual qualifications.
