Job summary

Advantage SCI is seeking a junior Security Specialist to support customer and project management at JBAB, Washington DC. The role includes processing outgoing clearance messages, validating SCI access for customers, and handling various badging tasks and PED processing.

You will schedule SCI indoctrinations/debriefs, upload related documents, and assist with CAC issuance where applicable. This is a full-time position requiring an active Top Secret clearance with SCI/CI poly eligibility.

Qualifications

• Processing outgoing clearance certifications messages.
• Processing incoming visit certifications and validating SCI accesses of customers.
• Performing various badging functions and updating personnel security systems.
• Scheduling and conducting SCI indoctrinations/debriefs, and uploading related documents.
• Processing Personal Electronic Devices (PED) and systems access requests.

Responsibilities

• Badging activities, to include the issuance of badges and in some locations the issuance of CACs.
• Submitting outgoing clearance requests.
• Processing systems access requests.
• Responding to numerous requests for status updates and other routine security questions.
• Identifying element personnel that requires updating of their polygraphs and investigations.
• Training part-time unit security officers in the use of security databases and tools; other duties as assigned.
