Job summary

Leidos is seeking a junior-level Security Engineer and IT Help Desk Technician to support the NDOC. The role includes analyzing security requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing escalation-ready support across client, server and related systems.

This position is 100% on-site in Bethesda, at the Intelligence Community Campus. The candidate will work under NMEC/ISSM guidance, assisting with STIGs, NIST 800-53 controls, RMF processes, and security documentation, while

Qualifications

• Experience creating and managing domain accounts within Active Directory.
• Familiarity with supporting virtual desktops running Windows.
• Experience troubleshooting Active Directory account issues and errors.
• Experience troubleshooting software and hardware issues for end users.

Responsibilities

• Provide first point of contact for all customer queries and incidents.
• Manage and administer accounts including password resets and terminations.
• Document and track customer requests in an ITSM solution.
• Elevate to Tier 2/3 for complex issues.
• Provide telephone support in a professional manner.
• Ensure all tickets are logged and assigned to the correct team.
• Proactively monitor incidents and share trends with the Service Desk Manager.
• Update Service Desk docs and share best practices.
