Job summary

August Schell is seeking a Junior Security Control Assessor to support a cybersecurity risk management program for a DoD customer at Ft. Meade, MD. The role involves conducting cybersecurity assessments, audits, and providing risk analysis. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree, three years of experience in a Federal IT environment, and be willing to travel.

This hybrid-remote position offers opportunities to work with diverse technology areas including Network, Cloud, and various security tools. Candidates must possess an active Secret clearance with a willingness to upgrade to DoD Top Secret.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in a DoD or Federal IT environment.
• Must have experience in at least 3 of the specified technology areas.
• Active Secret clearance with willingness to upgrade to DoD Top Secret.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cybersecurity assessments for DoD organizations.
